I've been using this so summarize a lot of great podcast video. Saves me a good chunk of time if I want to skim ahead for knowledge, and makes my time worth it when I wanted to read the summary before I watch the whole video.

At first, I was skeptical about paying up for an unlimited subscription, but wow!!! I've used other YouTube summarizers before, but this one blew my mind. I cleared out my "Watch Later" list all thanks to it, hehe!!! I got to sit through documentaries with the extension by my side to help me understand the key areas and points. Of course, it is dependent on the videos having captions already, but most of the educational material and other relevant content come with this. Thank you to the developer(s). WAIT!!!! Did I mention it is pretty affordable?! Hehe!
Works perfect! Mainly wanted to hide youtube shorts in subscriptions page in safari and it does great job with it and on top of that you can hide so much more stuff. Definitely don't regret spending money on this.
Very useful. There are other products that will synthesize video content in various ways—and some of those are free—but this extension is super-easy, lightweight, quick and convenient to use. I think it is probably worth the upgrade subscription price, if you can afford it.

I'm a big fan so far - I'm in the middle of a ton of research and I also watch some of the big name productivity/health accounts, and I use UnTrap for almost every video. Super convenient to have timestamps so I know where specific topics were mentioned, and if I save the video to my note-taking app, I bring the summary and key points from UnTrap along with it.

In the course of 10 minutes, I have generated and read summaries a few hours of video. For those who use YouTube as an information source like me, this is a real game changer and time saver. It especially helps when you're not sure if a video is worth the time to watch. The bullet point summaries are easy and fast to read. This will be in my toolbox from now on.

It's been super helpful with my tailoring sessions for software implementation. Going through these recorded meetings with clients is grueling sometimes, and this extension summarizes everything automatically chapterizing in their summary with links to the places in the video.
I wish I had known about this sooner. I really appreciate the work you put into creating UnTrap. To my shock, I think I might actually be able to focus when I use YouTube now.
This is addicting. At first I felt guilty for taking watch time away from creators but in reality 90% of the time I am using it for videos I would not have watched at all either because the creators voice or style annoys me or the video is too long for the topic.
Untrap is an excelent app that gives the user full control over the content they see on youtube. The end result is that you are able to access valuable videos on youtube without being subjected to the low quality video thumbnails designed to hijack your attention and elicit an emotional response. If you were to take a road trip to a national park, would you want to see billboards on the side of the road every ten feet? Of course not! You are there for the scenery. And that is what untrap gives you with youtube. Highly reccomend everyone give it a shot.

This app deserves to have hundreds of 5 star reviews on the App store. I don't know why it was so hard to find this app. I've been searching for similar apps for a few weeks now and this is definitely the best one and worth the price. Thank you!
